Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve noticed multiple details overlooked? Maybe when you’re eating at a restaurant and the plates aren’t evenly spaced, or the table isn’t completely wiped off. Maybe you’re reviewing a co-workers project and there is spelling error after spelling error. Those things are noticeable by some and not as noticeable by others. It’s kinda the same deal with fashion.
Pocket Squares
When it comes to dressing yourself in the morning, the same thing applies. If your shirt isn’t steamed, and you aren’t wearing a pocket square, you look a lot less put together than if it was steamed and you were wearing a pocket square. Some people may not notice and some people will.
Pocket squares aren’t always needed to complete every look, but it’s a great example of going above and beyond while not leaving out any details.
Ascot or Bowtie
Other examples of going above and beyond in your look, would be wearing an ascot or bowtie. You may be wondering, what even is an ascot?

One of the best tricks in the book is throwing on a scarf. A scarf is the quickest and easiest way to add color, texture or pattern to your ensemble. Go with a bold purple scarf or tone it down with a neutral.
